It is not advisable, James, to venture unsolicited opinions. You should spare yourself the embarrassing discovery of their exact value to your listener.
Based on the initial offer by Delphi (link above) - this is going to be an ugly Christmas here in Southeast Michigan. For now, I am going to assume that this is an opening position and that a settlement will be made before a strike happens.

I wouldn't bet on it. I think Delphi may be prepared for a strike like Northwest. First Michigan has high unemployment. Second, the majority of the jobs only require a few hours training at most and an adequate high school education. Third, if I understand the details correctly, skilled trades are offered a competitive wage. Finally, I think Delphi could weather a strike better then the UAW rank and file.
